Our Next Playsceme Event will Be Held in the summer.
Thursday 24th July - Friday 25th July & Monday 28th July - Tuesday 29th July

Based in the Lode Centre, Soham Holiday Playscheme is run by volunteers so that children between
the ages of 5 to 11 years old can spend some time having fun.
The best thing is, it only costs £5 per child for each day that they attend!

The Playscheme is open from 10am - 230pm:

• One day in the Easter Holidays
• A whole week in the Summer Holidays
• One Day in October Half Term Holiday

The activities at the playscheme are very wide ranging and accomodating for all children who attend and there is always something for the children to do and to keep them occupied.
With the help of The Ross Peers Sports Centre we always have enough space for everyone and for all activities which amongst many include:

Indoor & Outdoor Sports
Painting
Arts & Crafts
A Bouncy Castle!

The Children are booked in and then a track of their movements is recorded on a large magnetic board with all their names on.
This means that if either a parent came to collect their child early or if a friend wanted to know where someone was then they could easily be traced.
Drinks are always freely available and there is also a tuck shop for the children to buy some sweets from during the day.

In the summer week we usually have T-shirt printing. The children make their own designs and these are then printed onto shirts that have Soham Playscheme Written around the border.

The best thing about the summer is the fact that we always have a BBQ on the Friday to finish the week off. As can be seen from the photograph the children can't always wait and are cuing up before we have even started!
